Terms of Service

2) Eligibility (20+)

You must be at least 20 years old and able to form a binding contract under New Zealand law to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws in New Zealand and any other jurisdiction from which you access the Service.

3) Accounts & security

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and maintain account security. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require verification to protect the Service and our users.

4) Acceptable use; anti-cheat

• Do not cheat, exploit bugs, automate play (bots/scripts), reverse engineer, or bypass security.
• Do not harass, threaten, or post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Do not attempt to access other users’ accounts or our systems without authorization.
• We may monitor gameplay and take technical steps to detect and prevent abuse.

5) Virtual items & optional purchases (if offered)

We may offer virtual coins, boosts, or items for purchase. Purchases grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use virtual items within the Service. Virtual items are not property, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed. All sales are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Prices, availability, and item balances may change, and we may adjust or discontinue virtual items to maintain fair play and the Service’s operation.

6) Suspension/termination

We may suspend or terminate access (and remove or reset virtual items/balances) if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, engaged in fraud/cheating, or if required for safety, security, or legal compliance. You may stop using the Service at any time.

7) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law (and without limiting any non-excludable consumer rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986), we disclaim warranties of acceptable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JoylixNZ Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or NZ$100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.

9) Disputes; governing law

If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Where applicable, smaller consumer disputes may be referred to the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand; otherwise, you agree to bring claims in the courts of New Zealand and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have under the Gambling Act 2003, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

10) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
